NICARAGUA: Fundraising (year 3 and counting)

Well its that time of year again where I am preparing for my missions trip to Nicaragua and wanted to share my support letter with all of my friends and family. Thank you so much for taking the time to take a look at this opportunity to bless myself and in turn many others as I prepare to lead our Shorewood Foursquare team on the 2014 Nicaragua trip. See below for my letter and some pictures from previous years!

FYI if you want an easy way to donate I have created a Paypal button on the right side of the blog. It is completely safe and secure through Paypal encryption and you don't need a Paypal account do donate. Once on the Paypal link put your donation amount and click the link in lower left to continue without Paypal account!! Thank you all so much for your prayers and support! I couldn't do this without you!!

Love you all!

PS Below is my donation letter....

First off, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has contributed to my past missions adventures. Whether it be through prayer or donating funds, I honestly couldn't do it without you and your eagerness to bless me and in turn so many others during through this outreach. From the bottom of my heart thank you!
With that said, it is time for me to start thinking about this year's missions trip. This will be my third trip to Nicaragua in as many years and I am as excited as ever. As in years past, I will be donating my time on this mission in the construction field. I am looking forward to leading this year's construction team in continuation and possibly finishing some of last year' projects. Over the past couple years we have been working on building a new church in Niquinohomo, which is a small town south of Masaya, Nicaragua. The current pastor has been running her operations from her house and has run out of space for her congregation. The funds raised for our construction team have been used for materials and local labor to work with us hand in hand in constructing a new building that will shine the light of God in an area desperately in need of positive reinforcement.
I will be co-leading a group from our new church in Seattle on this year's trip and am looking forward to see how we can develop together through this adventure. Even with a small congregation we were able to inspire 13 others to join us on this year's trip. So exciting!! Our members will be donating their time to all of the different ministries the trip offers including the construction team, medical team, bible distribution and children's ministry. I can't wait to see how God can change their lives as I know He will as they all have a heart to spread the Word. Please be sure to pray for all of us as we will need it more than you know!
Words can't describe the changes I have seen in my own life by saying yes to this opportunity. These Nicaragua missions have become a staple in my spiritual life and I would encourage everyone who reads this to contemplate donating your time if you ever get the chance. Being a part of something that is bigger than us is what we are all called to as Christians. By offering time and money to others, I have been blessed beyond belief in what I have learned and experienced.
All that said, I have to raise about $2000 to cover expenses for this year's trip and I am asking if you will take the opportunity to bless God in giving to furthering his kingdom. I know that not everyone has the time to spare as we all have family needs and life's difficulties can hit hard, but you don't have to be present to be a part of the trip! If you are able to spare a couple bucks I can guarantee you will be blessing others in ways that can alter their life and well being. If you can't offer a donation please give us a shout out during prayer time and think of us during our travels.
If you are able to donate even a small amount you can make checks payable to Daniel Sekerak or Shorewood Foursquare with my name in the memo. I also have a paypal donation through my blog link!! Easy Safe and Much Faster!!
